It takes technical knowledge, great preparation, and passion to be ready to join WhatTheHack: Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) Hackathon (closed event), which Microsoft drives together with experts from 5 CEE countries and India in Deutsche Telekom at OTE Academy premises.

What led the joint teams of DT & Microsoft to organize this event? A passion for customers! Cloud experts are gathering to not only acquire AKS knowledge, but also to have hands-on experience
and be able to serve this technology piece to our current and prospect customers.

Hackathon is a challenging, yet highly effective format to test skills in practice. But before doing that, around 30 participants needed to complete a series of prerequisites, consisting of – ~30 h of self-study materials and online pre-hackathon. Post the event they will also have a deep dive into the topic with focus on specific accounts and customer scenarios.

What will the hackathon be all about? In welcoming premises of OTE Academy participants will take part in a blend of three available “What the Hack” hackathons from Microsoft: “Intro to Kubernetes”, “Advanced Kubernetes” and “AKS Enterprise Grade”. The hackathon will cover the following topics:
